REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective Date : April, 2026
1. Digital Delivery Confirmation
Upon a successful transaction through PhonePe, the download access and/or license key is instantaneously granted on the success screen and delivered via automated email to your registered email address.
2. Exceptional Cases for Refund
Refunds will only be considered under the following rare circumstances:
- Double Payment / Technical Glitch: If your bank account was debited twice for the same order due to a network issue, the duplicate amount will be processed for a refund automatically.
- Invalid License Key: If the license key provided by us is invalid and our support team cannot provide a working replacement within 48 hours.
Note: We do not offer refunds for software bugs, system incompatibility, or performance issues, as these fall under the responsibility of the original software developers (e.g., Grass Valley, Album Sense).
3. License Transfer (Alternative to Refund)
Because of the nature of digital products, we cannot issue standard refunds. However, to help our customers buy with complete confidence, we provide an option to transfer your license to someone else. If you no longer need the software, you can find a buyer for it yourself, and our team will assist you in officially transferring the license to the new user.
4. RBI Guidelines: Refund Processing & Routing
As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines governing electronic payments:
- Original Source: All approved refunds will strictly be routed back to the original payment method (Bank Account, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI) used during the transaction via PhonePe. Refunds cannot be transferred to a different bank account or third-party wallet.
- Timeline: Once a refund is initiated from our end, it may take 5 to 7 working days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your issuing bank's processing time.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company or bank without first contacting Edit Zone support to resolve the issue, your license will be immediately suspended pending the resolution of the dispute.
